The one adscititious that I saw featured in everyone’s outfits these past two weeks, was, let’s face it — snow. Snow, snow, and more snow. And yes, it is an auxiliary. I think it’s funny how, even though it may not be any colder or any more treacherous outdoors, for some motive, when there is even an inch of snow on the ground, fellow Washingtonians feel in one's bones the need to adorn scarf, gloves, hat and a huge winter jacket.
I’m not active to lie — the blizzard of this past week has left me, without correct attire, scrounging through my winter clothes supply for items I could run out of my apartment with and not fret are going to allow everything from my waist down to be drenched with snow and slush. And thus a barely bit about Hunter boots.
Admittedly, I’m going for a brand here. To UGGs, however, they can be found on Scott Schuman’s beloved (by me) blog. One of my favorite photos from these over and done with few weeks is from the Feb. 12 post, “On the Street ... 37th St., NYC.” A youthful man stands with conviction in five inches of snow and black-rimmed glasses, wearing his coloured Hunter boots, a brown trapper hat, a red plaid double-breasted jacket and a canvas bag. I’ve already mentioned trapper hats, and now, let it be known that in times of queer weather, Hunter boots just may also save your vogue.
