A man armed with a handgun has robbed four convenience stores in eastern Henrico County in a 30-day patch. Each store was on or close to Nine Mile Road, Henrico guard say.
In most of the incidents, the man entered the store, jumped over the counter and hit the clerk with his gun, said Investigator M. Callow.
He said the man apparently also knew where the large bills were kept because he demanded loaded from a specific location.
Police are asking for the public's succour in identifying the man, described as black with light skin, 35 to 45 years old, 6 feet 2 inches towering, and 165 pounds. He has a thin build, thin mustache and goatee, and had pantyhose over his countenance and hands. He robbed each store at gunpoint.
During the latest pinching, on Feb. 4, he had on a gray fleece jacket with white lining, black jeans and a black winter hat, according to a police news put out.
At another robbery, he wore a tan Carhartt hat with ear flaps, a light tan jacket with bad lining, and light blue jeans, police say.
