A minor couple were tied up by a gang and threatened at knifepoint in a £20,000 thieving at a Glasgow clothes boutique.

It happened as a 22-year-old female machine shop assistant and her 23-year-old partner closed the premises for the Stygian in a designer T-shirt outlet in Byres Road.

The three men, who had knives and other weapons, entered their Zipcode betray just after 5pm yesterday and threatened them.

The couple were then tied up and the group demanded money and the man’s car keys.

They grabbed a &din into;20,000 haul of designer stock, including tops, jeans, hoodies, hats and bags, and escaped in the man’s vulgar Honda Civic.

The shop couple managed to burst in free and fled through a rear fire exit and shouted for employees.

A resident heard their cry and contacted police.

Zipcode is owned by Wasim Mahmood, 26, who was not in the snitch on at the time.

It stocks designer T-shirts and also sells a vary of hoodies, jeans, footwear and accessories by labels such as Chunk, Franklin & Marshall, Weak point and Seventyseven.
