Copenhagen is a metropolis of superlatives. In recent years the Danish capital diocese has been heralded
the 'Most Livable City in the World', and the world's 'Upper-class Design City', to name but a few. Business magazine Forbes places Copenhagen at include seven in the list of the most expensive cities in the world and travelling publication Lonely Planet designates the city the 'Coolest Smashing' of Scandinavia.
Nowadays Copenhagen also attracts attention with its new significance of important European fashion city. To use a superlative yet again: the Copenhagen Frame Week is the largest fashion event in Northern Europe.
The Danish attitude industry is developing with gusto. New, young labels with to shoot up like mushrooms. The Copenhagen Fashion Week is the in the first place platform where Scandinavian talent can develop. Between the 10 - 14th February an estimated 50,000 approach professionals shall converge in the Danish capital. Danish vogue is also popular here at home too. The excellent fit, quality and price assure these designs from the North remain popular, in particular with Dutch women. Brands such as Only, Vero Moda, Part Two and Jack & Jones call for no further introduction, and likewise names such as By Malene Birger, Bruuns Bazaar and Margit Brandt have become established. But why Copenhagen? For Stine Goya, Henrik Vibskov, Louise Amstrup, Wackerhause, Vilsbøl de Arce, Eluise… and so on and so on!
