Have any of our elected leaders examined the widely known state of passenger rail service on Amtrak routes? According to Trains Arsenal, Jan. 10, 2010, issue, Amtrak passenger travel is down 5 percent from the whilom before year. In this same issue, you can find the specific passenger totals and totality revenue for each Amtrak route. A check of the Amtrak information shows that proposed passenger service between Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati will be strapping disaster.
The Amtrak route "Wolverine Service" links Detroit with Chicago, a hauteur of about 278 miles. Cleveland to Cincinnati is about 252 miles.
